Just in case 22 books isn't enoughwednesday_10_00January 5 2009, 02:12:52 UTC
I'm so glad I can save you the pain of not having ordered どうしても触れたくない, which I made the mistake of not ordering in December, only to read a really good review of it from insaneneko. It's so sweet and so adorable; kind of angsty but in a good way. I can't even get angry at the main character when he's a dumbass, because he's just so darn adorable--I am SO into the awkward, silent guys right now--(plus he has good reason for being afraid of being in a serious relationship, given that his last boyfriend was a total ass to him). (Bonus! Ranked #3 in このBLがやばい.)
I don't know if spacealien_vamp recced コイイケ to you or not, but it's really cute (especially the last couple, who have the most screen time). Anyway, if you like that one, the sequel (君にまた恋がくる) just came out; it's not, I think, quite as good, but still good.
隅田川心中 is a short story collection; the first two I was meh about (especially the first one, which does not have a happy ending), but the second two are way adorable. I wish Nadeshiko Galaxy (my favorite) had been longer, but still, way cute. The last couple I was iffy about at first, but they get cuter as their story goes on. By the end, when the uke is getting all turned on by the seme's rakugo, I was totally in love.
どうしようもないけれど (1 and 2) The story of a rich boy who will one day inherit his father's company and his current boss. Seems like kind of a typical salaryman story, but the characters are really great. Really cute and funny. (このBL #8)

You can't just share this with me! You must post to your journal so others may see. I'm definitely adding どうしても触れたくない, will wait for your reviews of the other KoBLgai* titles.
* Still searching for an abbreviation I like. This one I pronounce "ko-blow-guy," even though it lacks a second O.

Eh, I still have some more reading to do to finish up my December order, and then I'll do a proper write-up. I just wanted to make sure to give you some more titles to consider before you place the big order.
PS Did you somehow miss this post? Because we require your input. Unless you are secretly sharing it off-line, in which case I will be forced to whine "no fair!" a lot.

No, I didn't touch your stuff while you were gone. I know that sounds odd, given that I have absolutely no hesitation poking my nose in everywhere as long as you are present. But that's the difference: you need to be there to give permission or protest. And while you were here (so briefly!) I focused on the elusive G-Defends.
I suppose you've already placed the order, and I hope you were smart enough to add 世界一初恋, because otherwise I'm going to have to kick myself for not reminding you of its existence and telling you how much you need it.

And obviously I needed to flag this post for keeping up with comments as well...
LOL どうしても触れたくない, which Amazon has been insistently recommending at me for some time now, and I keep not adding it to the buy list. See, I guess I ought to listen when amazon.jp talks to me. (Also, I need to order ko blow guy.)

Most likely Amazon has been recommending it because of the FORTY glowing reviews it's received. That's even more than 同級生, which was named the number one manga by Koblowguy. (Have we settled on this nickname now? I kind of like giving it a new one every time we talk about it. Next on my list is KBLY ["kibbly"].)

You know, my copy of this was in your apartment for months. Did you ever flip through it?
