Notes: I have spend the last several months working on this one. I can't remember how often I redid the skin until I was satisfied. A few times I was close to giving up, since the atmosphere didn't sight right with me or the texture. Now I'm glad I persisted. I know there's still room for improvent, there always is, but at least now I'm happy with my process.
Perhaps I also should explain the scar on his forehead. At the beginning I intended to have the burning ships of Losgar in the background, but soon the red light clashed with the skin and I reduced the red burning sky with the cloudly mist of the North, while Fingolfin and his people attempt to cross the Helcaraxe. Since he fought and the Teleri did not stand idle, Finglfin was wounded in battle and little time to take care of it. Hence the scar.
So, Fingolfin is done and I will move on to the rest of is house
