Michael Gombos, Japanese licensing manager at Dark Horse, has announced a number of new titles that Dark Horse has picked up.

Juon (not sure which one)
Lullabies from Hell by Hideshi Hino (one shot)
Museum of Terror by Junji Ito
Scary Books by Kazuo Umezu
School Zone by Kanako Inuki
Octopus Girl by Toru Yamazaki
Satsuma Gishiden by Hiroshi Hirata
Old Boy by Garon Tsuchiya and Nobuaki Minegishi (8 volumes)

In addition to these manga, Gombos also says that Dark Horse will be releasing the three-volume Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex novel series, by Jun'ichi Fujisaku, one of the Stand Alone Complex TV series script writers.

Dark Horse is going horror! I actually think this is a smart move by them as there is not a lot of horror titles available anymore. Parasyte is OOP, Uzamaki I think is also OOP or at least hard to find. It looks like The Ring books did well for them and they are going to tap this niche horror market. Smart move.

And Old Boy manga!?!? Oh dear. That movie blew me away, but I'm not sure I want to rehash it again. ^^; I have no idea if this was the original source of the movie, or if it is an adaptation. If anyone knows, please post.
