(no subject)
Just dug out my Suede CD's... spurred by playing The Dears 'Lost In The Plot' (as to me they sound like a hybrid fusion of Suede and Morressey, with hints of Blur, Interpol and good Bowie).
Only got 'Dog Man Star' and 'Coming Up' + some of their singles. Haven't played them for simply ages!! How wonderful is it when you go back to a neglected band and they sound as good as you remember? Yay!
Brings back fabulous memories of seeing them play Norwich Uni years ago! *Remembers the serious crush I had on Neil Coding (the keyboard lush) at the time... he was so sulky, divine and incredibly yummy - swoons at the mere memory*

Went to the doctors this morning - brought about because my last Blood Donation attempt was a disaster, I didn't pass the finger prick test and they contacted me to go get a check up as I'm extremely anaemic! Fortunately it's only iron deficiency anaemia, but it does mean I'm on ferrous sulphate tablets for at least 3 months!
It does explain the headaches, dizzy spells, tiredness, insomnia and 'I feel like total shit' moments... so finding out it's anaemia and nothing more serious is a great relief :o)
Which reminds me... I'd better take a stroll to the chemist to pick up my 3 months supply of pills!
(Will I need a wheelbarrow, I wonder? lol)
