Hello Hello! I'm getting excited for Saturday's Big Cheese and Doctor Who Finale Sleepover that me Michelle and Steph are gonna have (Long story) but I have a meme from Michelle plus a fic for you all to enjoy! Ciao! ^^

And Sports Day was pretty cool, "This is an English Relay! So we run FORWARDS!" ^^ (We have an Irish Teacher in our school who was running the teacher's relay, twas fun. ^^

Your Autobiography

Part 1: The Birth of You
Were you a planned baby?
- I don't know. I don't think so, seeing as my mum said, and I quote, that "Fatherhood had a strange effect on your dad." =O

Were you the first?
- Yup.

Who was present at your birth?
- My mum and dad(who fell asleep afterwards!) and the midwife.

Were your parents married when you were born?
- Yeah.

What is your birthdate?
- 03/03/1991

Part 2: The Family
How would you describe your family?
- Crazy fun! We have: 1.the straight, upright, sensible mother, 2.the laid back crazy dad, 3.the happy-go-lucky yet introspective fangirl, 4. the crazy, 5. the dancer, and 6. the five year old terror. xD

Are your parents married? Divorced? Seperated?
- Married.

Siblings or an only child?
- Three siblings!

If you have siblings are you oldest, middle, or youngest?
- I am the oldest!

What are your siblings names?
- Jack, Holly, Edward

Which parent do you get along with best?
- Probably my dad. I argue a lot with my mum. We're on comletely different wavelengths. =[

What do you fight about?
- Mostly I fight with my mum over stuff like how I should apparently act my age, or how I apparently get too emotional about things, or about how I should look after myself... =[

Do you have step parents?
- Nuh.

Part 3: The Friends
Do you have more than one best friend?
- Of course! I couldn't choose just one!

Who are your best friends?
- There’s a few. Michelle or Mich I haven't known that well for that long, but we are so alike it was like we were meant to meet - I get so hyper when I talk to her! It's like we are twins or something! ^^ Gemma I've known for a while, we've built some great memories together and we used to be in and out of each others houses all the time! Steph is absolutely amazing, we've always had a laugh together and she can also give me advice about serious stuff as well, which is good. ^^

What do you do when you're together?

- Have fun, whatever the desciption of that happens to be!

Do you share the same interests?
- Yeah, there’s different interests shared with all of my friends.

Which friend can you tell anything to?
- Hmm. To be honest, everyone. It depends on what feels right at the time.

Part 4: Your Personality
How high/low is your self esteem?
- Usually, I feel great about myself. But if I do something insanely stupid or I feel very hormonal or helpless, it can fluctuate a bit. =S

Do you get depressed about things easily?
- Not really. If I do, I just plonk on a chick flick and some angsty music or chat on msn and I'm right as rain afterwards! ^^

Are you happy?
- YUP!

Do you live life to the fullest?
- I try! =D

Part 5: Appearance
Are you comfortable with the way you look?
- Yup!

What would you change about your appearance if you could?
- My eyebrows! Lolz, it's too much effort to get them waxed all the time but I don't have naturally thin ones...

Do you have any piercings besides your ears?
- Not even my ears mate!

Describe your hair?
- Mid length, layered, brown, gets in the way when i bend over.

How do you dress?
- Pretty conservatively I guess. Jeans, T-shirts, hoodies, converse or trainers. I like wearing long skirts in autumn and winter. I'm still searching for a floor length scarf for winter though. ^^

Part 6: The Past
Were you a strange child?
- VERY quiet. I guess I wasn't strange, just over protected.

What did you use to love that you no longer do?
- Full on awesome swimming. Like staying underwater for ages and stuff. I haven’t been swimming for so long, but I used to go every week. (Yes I took this answer STRAIGHT from Mich's blog because that was what I used to do. WOW or what!?)

Do you have the same friends?
- Yeah, a bunch of friends from my old primary school, tis great.

Was there anything in your past that was traumatizing?
- A little I guess.

Part 7: The Future
What is your ambition?
- Travel the world? Get something published? Oh yeah, and be at least an extra or something in Doctor Who, heh heh. ^^

Are you scared of growing old?
- Nah, will be fine. If I get too old for people to put up with, I'll just go out with a bang! (Like bungy jumping or something)

Do you want to get married?
- When it's the right time.

Part 8: The Outdoors
Do you prefer indoors or outdoors?
- Outdoors. Though Indoors can be just as fun at a sleepover!

What is your favorite season?
- Spring and Autumn, though Summer is starting to grow on me... scratch that, I love them ALL!

Favorite weather?
- Quite sunny, but with a nice breeze so it doesn't get too hot.

Do you like walking in the rain?
- YUP! I went through a whole drizzly non-uniform day in only a T-shirt once! ^^

Part 9: Food
Are you a vegetarian?
- Nope, and never will be. xD

What is your favorite food?
- Mango, grapes, honey sandwiches (what?), strawberry jam.

What food makes you want to gag?
- Anything too spicy. Urgh. So no Indian food.

What is your favorite dessert?
- Ooer. I'd have to say Syrup Sponge, but then I'd be letting down chocolate covered strawbs!

What is your favorite restaurant?
- This pizza resturant in Pisa. It's really cute and the lady there didn't mind my little brother wandering all over the shop. ^^

Are you a fussy eater?
- Nope, but don't get me to eat anything spicier than mild chicken curry.

Part 10: Relationships and Love
Are you single or taken?
- Taken.

If taken, who is the lucky guy/girl?
- John. ^^

Do you think love is the best feeling in the world?
- Next to the complete and utter euphoria you get from laughing, yes!!!

Do you believe in love at first sight?
- I believe it has to happen (I'm a hopeless romantic) but I reckon you only know when it happens to you.

Part 11: Experiences
What was one of your greatest experiences lately?
- Every time I talk to my mates I guess. Gawd I'm easily pleased, ne?

What was one of your worst?
- Recently, there haven't really been any, but in my life I've had a few.

Have you ever done drugs?
- Nope.

Have you ever thought you were going to die?
- No, not really. If it had ever happened in a near death experience, I wouldn't be thinking about me dying, more like thinking about who I could save. (Up to and including myself! I have way too many things to do before I die!)

Thus concludes the Life of Aimee. ^^

Now! For t3h ficlet! A little sappy I guess, but someone needs to try and face the hurdle of getting over THE EVENT, as opposed to just writing about the happening and nature of THE EVENT. As usual, concrit and comments are much appriciated! ^^

Title: When the Stars Stop Shining…
Fandom: Doctor Who
Pairing: Ten/Rose
Rating: PG
Genre: Romance/Angst
Summary: She’d want you to move on and save the universe a trillion more times, Doctor.

The TARDIS was quiet now, her lights were dimmed and even her engines seemed to be crooning softly. Any innocent person wandering in - not that anyone could - would have sworn that the ship was in mourning.

As she was, in a way.

Suddenly a small shower of sparks lit up the dark underneath the console, followed by an irate alien curse.

“There’s no need to throw sparks at me, you’re well overdue a repair,” came an irritated voice.

The TARDIS wasn’t amused. You shouldn’t be repairing me, the state you’re in at the moment.

“I don’t know what you’re talking about. I’m fine, brilliant, never been better, always alright, fantastic.”

She gave the mental equivalent of a snort. You are not, she said mildly.

The Doctor’s head reappeared from under the console. But it wasn’t the same Doctor that had strolled out of the TARDIS the day that war had broken out on Earth. His eyes were red from exhaustion and grief, and the smile that used to be semi-permanent no longer graced his lips. In short, he looked terrible.

“Alright, so I’m not,” he said to the empty control room. “But I’m trying, OK?” He half-heartedly fiddled with the settings on the sonic screwdriver. It was easier to forget when his mind was on fixing things.

Easier to forget the day Rose had died.

“So how long are you gonna stay with me then?”

“Forever.”

Forever… when she’d said it, he’d believed it too. There’d been nothing that they couldn’t face off together. And it was so much easier to believe Rose and her sunny faith than it was to believe the Beast in the Pit.

“It said that I would die in battle.”

“Then it lied.”

He’d said it because he didn’t want to believe it, didn’t want it to be true. But now she was gone, so young. Too young.

His eyes filled with tears. It was funny, how much he’d been crying recently. Before Rose, before the Time War, before any of that, he couldn’t remember the last time he’d cried. Now the tears never seemed to stop. Not when it had happened though. He didn’t think he could forget how he’d felt when he saw her lifeless body. For a while, it was like his hearts had stopped beating. It was the Time War all over again - no, it was worse. There was nothing left, and she was just another one of those faces that was a meaningless casualty of war, another name in a long list written in blood.

But she wasn’t just another name in a list. She was Rose. She had been so much more, especially for him.

He didn’t know how long he’d crouched over her body after the war had all ended and most of London had either been cybernised, exterminated or deleted. It was as if it didn’t matter any more. Nothing had mattered.

When Jackie had seen him, she’d shouted, cried, asked why.

He didn’t know then. He still didn’t.

He didn’t think he could face the after, he’d never been one to stay and face the consequences -

- “You butchered my family and ran for the stars. But not this time. This time you have consequences” -

So he’d returned to Torchwood, found the TARDIS and left, leaving behind a broken world torn apart by both Daleks and Cybermen, with people in places when there shouldn’t be and others gone when they should be. And it had finally sunken in. Rose Tyler was dead.

That night, he’d broken down and cried what felt like every tear inside him, yet somehow the gaping emptiness that was ripping his hearts apart and making it painful to breathe still seemed to find more in a glimpse of her jacket, a chance wander past her room, that lingering scent that was… Rose.

He’d never been one for sleeping much in either his ninth or tenth incarnations - he guessed it was because he’d learnt the cherish every moment because it could well be his last - but now he just didn’t sleep. It wasn’t just the ever present memory of his home planet burning. Now he had the images of Rose’s death to deal with as well. It was safer not to sleep.

You should get some rest, the TARDIS said to him gently.

He knew that the old girl was right, that he should move on like he had with previous companions, but how could he move on from Rose? He couldn’t. Not yet anyway. The pain was still too recent, too raw.

It was made worse when his mind wandered into a wistful daydream where he told her the truth about so many things that he’d wanted to tell her but kept running away from, kissed her the way he’d always wanted to, told her the words that he’d never been able to finish…

Why wouldn’t the tears stop?

Even the ever present promise of planets and stars and new worlds to explore just seemed empty now that he was alone. For the second time in his life, the stars had just seemed to stop shining. If he’d thought he’d been lonely before, it was nothing to how he felt now.

She had been so much more than another human girl. She had been his shining star.

You miss her.

“Yeah,” he whispered. He didn’t trust himself to say anything else.

I do too. But you know that she would want you to move on.

“It’s easier said than done old girl,” he said, smiling in spite of himself.

It’s what Rose would want. For us to be out there, saving the universe, not moping around for the rest of eternity. For the first time since the Doctor had stolen her from their home planet, the TARDIS hesitated. She couldn’t physically comfort the Doctor, not hug him or hold his hand like Rose had been able to -

- “Who’s gonna hold his hand now?”

All she had to offer was her sympathy and her understanding. But Rose had looked into the TARDIS, and in return, the TARDIS had looked back into her. So she knew.

A small, sad smile touched the Doctor’s lips as he imagined Rose standing there, hands on hips and an incredulous smile on her face.

“Oi! Hey, come on, the universe isn’t gonna save itself with you mopin’ about, you big lump!”

He shook his head. She was right.

“Alright,” he said, though he wasn’t sure who he was saying it to, “I’ll finish up here, then we’ll find someplace. Justica, New Earth, Platform 7 in the 2000th century… but first there’s something I need to do.”

He wiped his eyes and set the co-ordinates for 2007, Earth. He had to go on. It was the least he could do for Rose.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A few weeks after the Torchwood incident, Jackie Tyler was visiting her daughter’s grave. It was a nice place, she thought. Bit depressing for Rose really, but then again, Rose had never been one for any part of her life being normal.

Jackie was surprised to see flowers already laid out on the grave. They looked fresh too. Nice smelling ones, she could smell them from where she was standing. She supposed they were foreign.

Or alien.

Whatever they were, they were beautiful. Just like her. She supposed they were from the Doctor. If it had been one, two years ago, she supposed she would have hunted him down like there was no tomorrow, but the look on his face when…

Jackie knew that look. It was the look that she had worn when Pete had died.

As if thinking that man's name was a summons, there he was. Standing a little further from the grave like he felt that he wasn’t supposed to be there. She felt like she should open the conversation.

“Didn’t expect to see you here.”

“I guess I could say the same.”

Awkward silence. They stood looking down at the grave, Mickey’s older flowers scattered around. Red roses. Fitting really.

“How’s life?” she tried. He did look tired.

“I miss her,” he said simply.

Jackie scrutinised him. “You loved my daughter didn’t you? Don’t lie,” she said as he opened his mouth, “don’t you dare say you didn’t, because I saw the look on your face and -” she stopped, tears in her eyes.

“Yeah,” he whispered. “I did - I did love her.” He looked down for a minute, not meeting her eyes. “I’m sorry Jackie, I’m so sorry.”

Jackie nodded. “I guess you’ll be off then?”

“Yeah, well, always moving on.”

“You could come back for a while… you know, if you ever need to.”

He looked her in the eye for the first time and smiled lopsidedly. “Yeah. See you around Jackie.”

“See you.” She watched him walk away. All on his own. Jackie almost felt sorry for him.

She restlessly knelt down and tried to tidy up the grave a bit.

“I should have made him stay really, love,” she murmured. “If you were ‘ere now Rose, you’d kill me to know that I’d let him wander off all on ‘is own, little madam that you were.” She smiled and picked up the piece of card that lay on top of the flowers.

“I suppose he could be anywhere now. I don’t think you should fret though Rose, wherever you are. He can look after himself. Like me, hey? We can look after ourselves.”

She stood up and bit her lip. “Bye love,” she whispered, and walked away.

The card she’d been looking at simply read, in two languages:

Rose Tyler
She was too good for this world.
I’ll never forget her.
I love her.

And just for a moment, Jackie thought she could hear her daughter’s laughter, travelling up past ruined London, towards some lonely star that had seemed to have stopped shining.
