Talking about the metro - it must be the most beautiful thing at all the world. So that why there was not just station where people sit in train and go where they need. Architects was very happy when government told them to design station and there was not any budget limits. And architects use granite and other stones for building stations.
Here is the stations which you should see:
1. Mayakovskaya station.
“Mayakovskaya (Russian: Маяковская), is a Moscow Metro station on the Zamoskvoretskaya Line. Considered to be one of the most beautiful in the system, it is one of the finest examples of pre-World War II Stalinist Architecture making it one of the most famous Metro stations in the world. The name as well as the design is a reference to Futurism and its prominent Russian exponent Vladimir Mayakovsky”.

“It is best known for its 32 stained glass panels. Each panel, surrounded by an elaborate brass border, is set into one of the station's pylons and illuminated from within. Both the pylons and the pointed arches between them are faced with pinkish Ural marble and edged with brass molding. At the end of the platform is a mosaic by Pavel Korin entitled "Peace Throughout the World."

“Each arch of the station is flanked by a pair of bronze sculptures depicting the people of the Soviet Union, including soldiers, farmers, athletes, writers, aviators, industrial workers, and schoolchildren. There are a total of 72 sculptures in the station…
One of the bronze sculptures - a dog that accompanies a frontier guard - is believed to bring good luck if you rub its nose”
