"Summer Time"
Been a while since I posted. Life has been busy for the last while, and applying for work has become my full time job. On the bright side, I just started a new job at Bell in the wholesale team. Considering I haven't had an income in a little over ten months, it's a good thing. Here are some other highlights of my last two months:
- Tyler and Casandra got engaged two weeks ago
- Tyler and Casandra moved into their condo last weekend
- I've taken up golf, when I have time and money. Played a few rounds, and it's nice to get some exercise.
- On the topic of exercise, I've signed up for a 5K race with Sarah at the end of August. Training has been good times, and I think my best time so far is about 33:35. Wooooo!
- Heard the other day that apparently Steve Page and Ed Robertson aren't as close as they used to be, though Ed sometimes tries to "bridge the gap occasionally". Not surprising, since Steve really let them down. Still, I had kind of hoped he might eventually come back. Ah well.
- Joined a barbershop group in Oshawa. It's good to be singing again.
- I've started noodling on the piano occasionally again. Apparently I can sightread half-decently at around a grade 5 level. Not bad, since I haven't played at all in three years.
- Al is going to Queen's soon. I'm going to be the only brother in the house. Ayeeee.
- I've had several teaching interviews, and another one coming up on Tuesday. Nothing yet, but the last two especially have been really good, so I think it's just a matter of time.
