"In My Life"
The last three weeks have been interesting. Here's a brief rundown:
- classes are done. Yahoo!
- I'm edging closer to getting a new roommate and a summer job. That'd be two of the big three things to have taken care of, so let's hope, eh? *crosses fingers*
- Last weekend, Kathryn, Eileen, Sarah and I went and saw Jessie in Aida in Windsor. Friggin' sweet show. I loved it. And getting out of London for a day wasn't bad either. Although I gotta say, Windsor does not look very attractive in the early spring, or at most other times for that matter.
- Formal was a rockin' good time. We danced the night away, and drank almost as heartily. Still wasn't entirely drunk though (as in keeping with previous post).
- I will be helping out with Radio Done Right again next year. It's actually the perfect spot for me, as I can still be a part of the show without being on council, like this year. Woot!
- Some people are still idiots. But that's being worked on.
- John's moving out at the end of the month. He's been my roommate for the last year and a half. I'm going to miss living with him. It had a couple of weird spots, but it overall, it was a lot of fun. It was nice to have someone around who's different from me, and each of us gave support when the other was going through tough times (and lord knows there were enough of those on both sides). I'm sure my next roommate will be awesome, but it'll still be weird not living with John.
- I learned today that Alix is moving to Halifax soon. I'm really happy for her, but at the same time it won't be the same without her around. More than that, it got me thinking: I'm essentially 3/4 done my undergrad. And I feel like I'm almost ready to leave UWO in some respects and not at all in others, but one thing's for certain: I will not be looking forward to the goodbyes I'll have to make in a year.
