Billy
Billy Buddy: Min Pin a.k.a. Miniature Pincher. ‘Billy’ is the name I gave him to replace his old name of ‘Buddy’. Billy was surrendered to the Denver Dumb Friends League for destroying mini blinds. Apparently the story goes his first owners left him in the back yard as an only dog for 3 years (yes thru the winter as well). Then they were getting rid of him and their friends took him in for 2 years. They tried to make him an indoor dog but he had acquired separation anxiety so he would destroy stuff when left alone. The mini blinds were the last straw in August of 2005, when he was about 5 and a half. So the DDFL sent a call out to the Min Pin Rescue as they were going to put him to sleep otherwise. The Rescue had no room in foster. The call went out on LiveJournal and long story short, I got sucked in. We brought him home and that was all she wrote. George fell in love with him so he stayed. He has had many issues but we have managed to work thru most of them and the others we just deal with day to day. He is a lovely love bug pup all in all, despite all the hurdles. He was dealt a poor deal to begin with but he’s livin life large now.
