We took the girls to the movies today... all the way we were convincing the girls that we were going over to a friends house so we could sit in the pool while they served us drinks and food AND they weren't allowed to go near the pool cos they had weeding to do!... so funny to see their faces all pouty.
We ended up at the cinema and watched 'Surfs up', which I am glad to say was surprisingly funny.
Afterwards we went to Mr Mikes Birthday... OMG friends for so long now and heaps of others who I have known for years. I sat, talked and knitted my way through the arvo... Ms B was a fantastic hostess and I think I'm gonna have to be more social in the near future.
The beautiful man had taken the girls home so I got a lift with 'the chan', ending up meeting the beautiful man at the local japanese where we all had dinner.
I am so full now... done no work for school tomorrow but what a fantastic weekend I've had. Good to know that although we have been discussing old people issues there's still some life in this ol girl...[insert rude comment from nemesis here]
