(no subject)
so this week has been okay.. finally adjusted to my schedule, for the most part.. not studying nearly as much as i should be, but there's plenty of time for that.. haha.. i have my first quiz today in math.. kinda edgy about it since he seems to expect a lot out of his students.. hopefully, it won't go too bad.. i also have a test in my grammer class on monday.. i'm pretty freaked out about that one as well.. it didn't occur to me before this class how much i don't know about grammer! it's scary.. i mean, i consider myself a decent writer, but this class makes me feel like i should go slap my 3rd grade teacher for letting me pass.. haha..
hmm.. oh.. i saw this bulletin on the math wall that was talking about getting a teaching internship in a jr. high or high school.. so i'm going to go to a meeting on tuesday and see what they have to say.. cuz that would be totally awesome since i'm way scared of kids these days, haha.. and i'm also planning on calling this lady who posted a paper asking for a tutor for her 13 year old twin boys.. which is like the age group i wanna teach when i get out in the real world.. so ya, that's another option.
i'm also thinking of asking my mom if i can work at the factory this year.. i did really well last summer and i think the money i save this year would be well invested in a better car.. my brother agrees, but is not as optimistic in my mom's understanding of the situation and willingness to endure me for another summer. her whole thing last year is that she said she wanted me to have a dependable job.. and i've been thinking a lot of my job at the d.c.. and it would be like the perfect situation cuz the d.c. isn't open in the summer.. so i could easily have a summer job and come back in the fall, without having to quit at the d.c. and just start where i left off.. i don't know if my mom will like my reasoning but i think it's a pretty strong defense.. anyhoo.. better finish so i can start heading of to my grammer class.. yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy................................. ciao all
