Recs! At last!
Apologies to the Supernatural crowd but it's been ages since I last recced SPN and my memories are chaotic so a lot of stuff didn't make it on here just because I couldn't find it again (or I deleted it - that happens too).

And interesting things happen when you lock characters up together . . .
(BTW, the beginning of the Profit in Oz story arrived neatly packaged last night while I was trying to fall asleep. At least it seems that way since I haven't tried to start writing it yet. I hope other people will play with Profit in Oz too *nudge*)

And I would totally organise it if I could clone myself. Alas, the way the DNA research funding is going in this country, that could be a long way off yet.
never would have been table to get Nathan and Lex together without locking them up together
Especially when, it seems, they are like personalities. There's something very difficult about taking two characters who are relatively similar and have them be attracted to each other (rather than struggling for position). And yet, as you show, the struggle, especially when it's forced upon them, can be the whole point.

Well, I hear there's a challenge coming...? *g*

I'll add it to my queue of future challenges . . . and I think I would just present a list of characters, say "pick two and go for it"--the low-work challenge. The only people who are disappointed if someone drops out are the writers themselves.

They are somewhat similar. Except Lex gives the Sex Eyes to everyone and everything. Uh, wait, that's not a difference. They are fantastic when they are preening and posturing and sniping at each other, but you're right, attraction, at least for me, requires some difference to hook it in. Lex canonically uses sex as a weapon, but I don't think Nathan could or would.

I've heard that rumor too . . . *wink*
