"You Go Sorthweest at the B Pizzle" (if all else fails take a right at the Y)

I would just like to state that even before you read this...I am now an official ViV groupie...make fun of me all you want but they are friggin' awesome! Wow...I just had one of the best nights of my life. Randomly, tonight at 8:15 Sam calls me and asks me if we want to go see that band ViV (who was at BPC last night) play in Worcester. We had talked about it yesterday and weren't sure if we were gonna go. So anyway...Sam calls me and at first I'm not sure if I want to go at all b/c the show started at 8 and it takes like 45 minutes to get there so I figured we would miss the show. But, I figured...I was bored so why not? So we jump in my car and head to Worcester (mapquest directions in hand...big mistake haha). We played the newly purchased ViV CD's I bought last night at the concert and were having fun. Then...we got wicked lost...unbelievably lost...so lost...that the people that live in the friggin' town couldn't tell us how to get to Becker College (where they were playing). We stopped and asked for directions not once, not twice, not three, but four times and could not find out how to get there! Now granted the people that we asked all told us that we were all really far away and then proceeded to make the statement that the college was 10 minutes down the road...which doesn't make any sense at all. So we drive around like idiots for a good 45 minutes all around Worcester and finally we stop at a Price Chopper to find out if we are even close...the girl that we asks tells us that they aren't playing at the Becker College in Worcester...they are playing at the Becker College in Lester (i have no idea how to spell it haha). And she tells us they are already done playing...but me and Sam would not give up...we were determined to find Becker College...lol. The girl gave us really good directions and we finally found our way there. So we get there and the band is packing up to leave...but since we had just driven for two hours we figured we would at least say hi to them. I had talked to them for a tiny bit last night, and Sam had hung out with them for a while when they were packing up so they remembered us. We told them about our little 2 hour adventure...and all of them start apoligizing to us and giving us hugs. Turns out that their website posted the wrong Becker college campus...and they went to the wrong one at first too! That made us feel a little less stupid..lol. So then the lead singer, Matt asks us if he can play a song for us since we missed the concert...so we obviously said yeah. Fuckin' right doggy! So he tells us they haven't even played this song on their tour yet...and breaks out his acoustic guitar to play it for us!It was called "Out of the Rain". All the band equipment was already all packed up but the other band members all sat around us and started singing with him. So here are me and Sam about to piss ourselves...it was so friggin'awesome! Meanwhile the photographer for their website is taking pictures of all this! Check out the website we might be on it soon...www.vivtheband.com! Right after the song Matt gives us both a big hug..and thanks us for coming so far to come see them! So we were gonna leave..and they're like..."we don't want you to get lost again...if you want to stick around for a while you can follow us back onto the highway." So of course we stuck around! We hung out with them for a good half hour/45 minutes just talking and joking around. They are all so nice and wicked funny! Justuce the keyboard player was making me laugh so hard I thought I was gonna piss myself! We got to meet their road manager...and all the people that are helping them out on the tour....who were all wicked nice too.We had such an awesome time! When it was finally time to go all of them gave us big hugs and told us that we had to keep in touch with them...and they kept thanking us for coming. We were so friggin' happy...we just kept saying "Thank you sooo much!". We followed them halfway to the highway but Sam lost her phone so we had to go back to the college...Matt and Justuce gave us directions back to the college and then back to the highway before we went back though...they are seriously the nicest guys ever! We finally headed home...and all we could talk about the whole way is how awesome the night was...I had the best time!
