Life update in dot points
- P.O.S car made it to Adelaide more or less intact. Guess who flew over to Melbourne to surprise me and drive back with me? Yeah, I'm a lucky girl :D
- Christmas in July party at bondchick_nett's was awesome, though I stayed up way too late! Went shopping in the Mall before hand and apparently Adelaide doesn't like my Melbourne Style :( Who knew red tights were so offensive?
- AVCon Saturday was super fun! It was great catching up and hanging out with awesome people. I wore a Pirate Lolita outfit (modified from my earlier attempt and much more successful). I entered the Lolita and Fruits contest and won first place in the Lolita category! Yay! All credit goes to my super piratey bag of awesome!
- AVCon Sunday was awfully cold. Next year I'm cosplaying as an Eskimo...
- AVCon photos here. Nobody really recognised my cosplay, but lots of people came up and asked me about it.
- Drove to Melbourne on Tuesday with my parents in my brother's van. Whoa... Diesel is expensive... and not very economical at all. Driving back to Adelaide on Monday.
