Since the LJ is a re-direct, they can still find me if they really try, but hopefully laziness will win out. ;)

LJ re-names are sweet. You can choose to keep or remove your friends, and whether or not to have your old name re-direct to your new one. I'm not hiding or leaving, so I chose keep and guide. ^_^

I'm amazed by how many sites are letting me change the SN without losing the account; so far everything but MySpace. And Yahoo has a service that carts your old account's contents into your new one. So even though changing everything (7 years worth of 'Net!) over is going to take at least the rest of the day, it's not as bad as I expected. ^_^

lol, yeah, I remember. I was so miffed that there was a character called Mandy Soprano and I couldn't have that as my s/n. "Sopranina" turned out better, even though lots of people couldn't spell it. :P
