Happy 2007 :)

I hope 2007 proves to be a wonderful year for everyone :)

The past week has been full of craziness. I worked christmas eve until close at 7, hopped in the car and drove to Johnstown with my brother, only to leave again on Christmas day at 5pm. The fog was terrible, but I had to be home to be at work by 7am on the 26th. Then the 27-29th I was at Winter Nature Camp, which was awesome, but very tiring, as you don't get much sleep in cabins fu1l of 5th graders who are ill and homesick. Luckily I had the 30th off, which was a much needed break from everything, and I only worked new year's eve until 5. Today I had requested off, so I got to sleep in, and it was wonderful!

Target cut my hours back, so I'm no longer working 40 hrs/week! I could use the money, but I also need winter break to actually be a bit of a "break". Two classes, 20ish hours a week and planning a wedding will be plenty to keep me busy for the month of january.

New Year's was fun. Pete and Leslie came over and spent the night at Bruce's. Dick Clark did a good job this year, I'm glad he was still able to host the celebration. We toasted with a bottle of wine... I really don't like wine. I wish I did though.. I would feel sophisticated hehe. Peter and I kept making sour faces as we finished our glasses, while Bruce took it upon himself to finish the bottle. Silly thing. Leslie won the game of Trivial Pursuit which needs to go down in history, because I don't think either of us have ever beaten the boys :)

Peter had to work in Towson this morning. He informed us about a sale that R&TT was having - buy a used dvd, get one free. Bruce had a couple gift certificates to use anyway, so he ended up getting over $100 worth of stuff for about $40, including two seasons of Seinfeld! I got six dvds for $30 - The Natural, Madagascar, the original Willy Wonka, Aladdin, Grease, and a dvd with episodes of Fraggle Rock. And I recently acquired The Goonies, Sabrina, and Cars. So when I get back to school we can have movie night :)

I work tomorrow and my math class starts woohoo! So my day will be a happy 9:45-5 and 6-9:30. yum.
At least I allowed myself a dinner break when I listed my availability at work.

Well, I'd best be off to bed.

Ta Ta!
