a darkroom day

My heater is making that blasted noise again... of course it comes back now with finals approaching. And I actually have two exams that I am going to have to study for like crazy. Today was a productive, but long day. I spent a lot of time in the darkroom working on that Warhol project. I got an awesome combination of color with my last attempt. It bleached the image a little more than I would have liked.. but Warhol's work was a little off too, so it doesn't bother me that much. Hopefully no one else will care either. It was a ton of work... I had to mask off sections of the image with rubber cement.. no one should have to sit in front of an open bottle of rubber cement for 5 hours...my head is killing me. And that heater isn't helping things. Doug wanted me to take some photos of him loading the kiln this afternoon. I had to push the film to almost 1600 (note to self to change camera setting back to 400!!)cause there wasn't much light and I didn't have a flash. Hopefully it'll turn out. I have to make sure I develop it correctly. I got something in my eye while we were down there, and Doug made me use the emergency eye wash thing. I hate flushing my eyes out w/ water, but it's probably a good thing I did. It hurt/looked pretty bad (my eye that is) and Doug was ready to take me to the ER. Luckily everything is fine.

I hope that Bruce is as excited to see me as I am to see him. There are only two weeks til I get to see him again.. til summertime!

Ahhh.. only two weeks!! Thinking of that in school terms is not cool... I have soo much to do yet!!!

Well, I want to go to sleep with happy thoughts, and that is going down the road of unhappiness, so I'm gonna go to bed before those school related concerns take over my dreams.
