I feel so guilty! I never post here anymore. And let's be real, it's not as if I was much of a regular poster in the first place, lol. But honestly, it's a little ridiculous when my last entry was from 2011.
So, in case anyone is watching and still cares, I am still alive! And still active in pretty much all of the same fandoms. I just mostly reside over on Tumblr now -- along with most of fandom it seems. Alas, reblogging gifsets is so much easier than trying to find something to say about it yourself, lol.
But in the wake of the bandom revival following FOB's reunion announcement, I find myself back here revelling in what fandom meant to me when I lived my life on LJ. I miss the community I felt here. All of my fannish friends -- the ones I met online at any rate -- come from bandom and LJ. I don't know if that was because of the fandom, the medium or simply where my mind was back then but I will always treasure my time spent here. I learned so much -- from what good writing truly looked like to what it meant to be a decent, accepting, and open-minded person.
So thanks for everything, LJ. This isn't goodbye. This is just a kiss goodnight. You'll still see me around, haunting all of my old familiar places. Just don't be surprised if my next post isn't until 2015 ;)
