Peek- A - Boo, I found you :Þ

I do agree that I think Naruto will end tragically- after he becomes Hokage. I mean how may times can the kid say it?!? O_O We get the point- "Believe it". *Someone stone me to death!* We know that poor Kakashi is a tortured soul who is forced to live a life of regret- it would only be appropriate for him to die on his promise of "protecting with his life". Again, another very well stated line; used throughout the story.

I also agree that there is a defined correlation between the shinobi generations. We see it with the San-nin vs. Team 7, Kakashi's Team under the 4th vs. Team 7 and once again there is that faint echo of Team 7 within Akatsuki. However, we have yet to see any of those involved bleed into one another; they only represented the whole "history repeats itself" sort of theory. In other words, I have a hard time buying into the Obito/ Tobi theory (especially being Tobi says he is Madara Uchiha) or that Pain is a relative of Naruto or Yondaime.

Speaking of the 4th... (and this is a highly debated topic) my opinion on his involvement with Akatsuki lies within whether the 3rd gave up his seat as the Hokage and the 4th took his place or if the 4th was named such, due to being the only village who was able to defeat the Kyuubi. We have no evidence that says the 3rd stepped down and the 4th served as the Hokage prior to the Kyuubi attacking Konoha. This leads me to believe the 4th was given his title as more of an honorary title, because even the serving Hokage (the 3rd) was not strong enough to protect the village- and we all know the strongest shinobi is who becomes the Hokage. An outraged Orochimaru (who wanted nothing more than the position of Hokage) states during the final battle with the 3rd that he should have picked a successor years ago, as he was told to do so by Orochimaru himself.

Now, if any of what I just said is true (that the 4th was given his title as an honor) I could see an respective relative being a bit ticked off that Yondaime was not allowed the title of Hokage until his final self sacrificing act of bravery- which is grounds for running of and becoming part of some rogue group in search of world domination. Though, I find this unlikely to be Pein, considering he is from the Hidden Village in the Rain and a leader in one side of their current civil war. I can't imagine his goals to include taking out one Kakashi Hatake.

What I find most plausible is the fact that Itachi is starting to show signs of not being who he is perceived to be. The savage Uchiha that went and killed his entire clan and ran off to become a rogue ninja- but yet he has some words for Naruto, when he is supposed to be capturing him. Even the Kyuubi refers to the Uchiha's as being of 'cursed blood'. I am willing to bet that Itachi spared Sasuke out of either love or a means for his own death- or better yet, to leave behind one member to revive the clan (as Sasuke plans to do). Tobi has revealed himself as being Madara Uchiha... Me thinks that Itachi is well aware of what Madara's plans are and is looking for a way to stop it, even if it means he needs Sasuke to be stronger than himself (vengeance being his motivation to become stronger than Itachi). It would make sense for Kishi to prove Sasuke's strength in killing Itachi- making it so Sasuke and Naruto (who will need to reconcile their differences)are left to take down Madara.

Insert Kakashi's sacrifice somewhere in that mix and I think we have a complete series... and you now got me to write a novel too. ;)

Hope this makes some sort of sense- it's late and this old hag is ready to hit the sack.

I did... Pretty much confirmed what most of us already had a hunch for. I'm glad Tsunade recognized Kakashi as being a suitable Hokage. Aside from Jariaya (who's out of the village on his own mission), I can not think of a more suitable shinobi for the position. Naruto has many years of experience and knowledge before he could be ready.

I had a feeling that Danzo was not going to sit back so quietly either. He made it clear how much he dislikes Tsunade- doesn't come as much of a shock that he had something planned all along... and the J-man was wise to it.

J-man is wise to everything, appparently. It's where Kakashi gets a lot of his information. =O

But J-man does it out of love!

Will Tsunade someday succomb to the J-man's funky mojo? lol

I serious have no idea why she wouldn't give in to him... I know I'm older but even I wasn't, I'd ride the J-Man Express.

I don't know if I'd like Jiraiya as much if he was settled down and less of an outward perve. Generally I am not one to ship two support characters together (it's just not my taste- just as cannon relationships usually are not either) but just like Urahara and Yoruichi so need to drop all facades and roll in the sack- so does Jiraiya and Tsunade.

Pretty freaky I can even think along those lines- I just managed to place 4 animated characters in bed together.
