The best damn pub in the whole damn world is right here.

And yes... I've been there. See!! And here I am again!

I'd say that was the best St. Patrick's Day celebration I've ever been to.

travel, drink, life in general

Actually, this particular little pub doesn't sell anything but beer. Lots and lots of it. Hard liquor not included.

As will I! For the girl speaks quite a blasphemy, says I! Ye be needin' to get down to the ol' pub flannagan's down on St. Phillip in the French Quarter.

Ah St. Phillip, now there's a man who brought dear Jesus to the Roman's door and whiskey to many a man's table.

*giggles*

The point I'm trying to make here is that it's not so much about what you can drink in the place, but rather the atmosphere of it in particular.

An Irish pub that doesn't serve hard liquor isn't a real Irish pub at all. I've been to several Irish pubs in England and Scotland, and they all had Scotch and whiskey beer shots.

Wow.... Thanks for being hypercritical and all, but don't knock it till you try it.
