this is how long i am going to be here.
each day consists of approximently seven hours of french class.
three hours of langue
one hour of conversation
one hour of laboratory
one hour of civilization
and now one hour of choir, which i joined and is totally awesome. there are some great singers,, holla collin.
it is improving my pronounciation and we have lots of fun. at the end of the month we are going to preform at the soiree international. we sang a song today called ensemble and it has the best melody i have heard in a while. is there anything happening anywhere? because i am in a bubble here.
we also have to do a research paper here. i chose the topic of the secular schools which is a pretty charged topic right now. because the parliment decided that headscarves are consideded religious signs (as opposed to cultural) thus none are allowed in public schools. we also learned about it in my civilization class, which is in french, so it was nice learning some related vocabulary.
all the french "GTF's" are awesome and some like me i think. some like my music and some like my pants.
also: japanese accents do not help french at all. seriously. i feel like they might as well be speaking japanese.
tonight i am not going to stay home and do homework like every other night, instead i'll see a french movie and go to le clipper with the GTF's and my french hommies.
god i miss home, but i feel like nothing is changing there. i'm sure it is, but when i get back i expect everything to be exactly the same. or i might have to turn right around and jump the pond again.
i'm looking for a couch to crash on for the rest of my life.
