i went to the ape cave last night with hutton and kyle. every time is something totally different.
so last night we were about to go into the cave. smoking and drinking from giant mickies cans (glass breaks too easily when climbing over craigs and both are against the rules). well our flashlights were really dim and it is the sort of thing that cannot be done without at least one good flashlight. we were trying to figure out what to do and these six people come down the steps. we told them our situation and they let us walk with them. turns out they are all from russia and now living in salem. we went through the caves at a record time because of the russians not letting us stop and get high. i learned a little russian and kept trying to make broad grammatical guesses at what exactly russian was. i was pretty close, i think, but all the terminology is different and they didn't know the english words i was using. some things i learned about russian. seven declensions, sounds like greek and french mixed up a little. shares letters with the greek alphabet (except they totally look like they were written by graffiti artists on crack). and russian sandwiches and candy are the best.
i ate something called favorite wonder. it was like goodness.
