Am alive, more or less.
Family situation has resolved, thankfully. The less said about it the better.
My brother finally paid off his debt to me by buying me a new digital camera for when I fly to Rome. It's taken him years but it's finally done and I'm really grateful for that. I just need to figure out how to use the camera and get to grips with it before I fly :) Will probably leave my laptop at home if I'm taking my digital camera, don't want too much technology to worry about, but we'll see. I need to get a case and a memory card for it.
I'm annoyed at the post office. They keep fucking off with my packages without waiting for anyone to answer the door. Am hoping my season 4 of Farscape and my euros from HSBC are going to be redelivered on Tuesday, I really am. If not I'll see if I can get someone to collect them for me.
Am not looking at my bank account as it is rather unhealthy at the moment but that's what going on holiday will do to you. It'll be worth it I know it will and I paid off everything that's due to go out on a monthly basis so it isn't like I'm falling behind on my direct debits. And I also get paid on Friday 14th September and I'll be in Rome so if I need more money I'll have some funding there to help me out.
Not looking forward to next week, am completely and utterly responsible for Personnel given that I am Jane's CTS >.> I have to help run a staff council meeting and take part in the scheduling meeting, will probably drag Kali along with me for moral support. Got Gino on my case again, this time about Kiosk training, but as everybody forgot to mention this to me before Jane went on holiday Gino can go take a flying leap off the nearest building.
It is pissing it down outside and I made the mistake of putting my rabbit out -_- Whoops? And the little fucker will not come in and does in fact hop into the biggest puddle there is and proceeds to wiggle his nose at me. Fuck that. I'll get him in when the rain lets up because I don't need to be getting ill. Can't afford it.
Thank you to everybody that sent me good wishes about the whole family situation, it was muchly appreciated. nereem honey, I love you too! Mwah! And the odd thing is that all my male friends that dropped off the radar have suddenly started talking to me again at the same time. It's weird, very weird. First Owain then his brother Oliver had a brief conversation with me yesterday and this morning my ex-boyfriend Rechi texted me. Apparently I popped into his head and I wouldn't go away.
Am still waiting on Owain but he won't be here till four in the afternoon so I have a bit of time to kill. Spent most of my day on the couch watching cringe inducing films like 'Never Been Kissed'. I cannot watch that film without hiding behind something because it's so uncomfortable to watch in places.
I need me some more Steve Carlson, obviously. I also need to write some more fic, I just need inspiration and prompts!
