I have definetely been neglecting posting on live journal lately. I always come on to check if other people have posted, yet I never feel the urge to write anymore. I hardly write anything anymore, it's odd for me.
Not much exciting has been happening in my life lately. The most recent events I've missed out on due to a stupid cold/flu that I caught on Saturday. Literally an hour before I was about to go out on Saturday night I checked my temperature and saw that I had a fever. Always a splendid thing! I figured getting my rest over the weekend would cure me...even Monday and Tuesday, but oooh no. This sucker latched on for dear life. I won't let it win. I'm going to school tomorrow, whether my body likes it or not. Well...I hope so, anyways.
The only good side to being sick was that it gave me more time to work on my philosophy essay and catch up in psychology. Shockingly enough, I took full advantage of it and I think I did a pretty good job on the essay. It wasn't easy, but I'm proud of it.
The WWRO6 retreat is coming up next weekend, then I have a whole week to relax during reading week. It's such a lame excuse for a week off, considering all of my tests and essays are due before reading week. I bet the prof's rigged it like that on purpose. Oh, well. The weekend following reading week I'm going to the cabin with the Wachal family and Becky. Hopefully it will be a good time for all.
I am not looking foward to sleeping with a stuffed up nose, but I must if I want to get adequate rest.
Goodbye & Goodnight
P.S. Leanne, your newfound love for scrapbooking sounds extremely appealing. Maybe during reading week we can hang out and do some, for I also love the art of scrapbooking.
