This is lovely. The lighting reminds me a bit of Toulouse Lautrec. :-) As I said on AIM, the colours look both eerie and eerily pretty. Cheers.

I used candle light for the side angle, and for the background I used a wallpaper on my computer's monitor which was green to give that color. No flash, using an Olympus D400Z digital camera.

Does it say my name is Mandrill, vic or whoever? no...

Go read the userinfo... I'm a real person. I am me, and no one else
is like me. I'm the photographer of the picture to which he painted.

Peace, Nexusnrg. Kraftpistole thinks that I might be using a second LJ account. So many people that we know have two, three or MORE LJ accounts, some of which are fictional characters.

Nice photo, btw, Nexusnrg. I really liked the lighting and the dark colors. Creative use of light sources, too. I'll have to remember that, about using a computer screen source for subtle side-lighting. I never use flash for my digital photos either, as I prefer natural shadows and colors. I take a lot of night shots and I try to use a tripod or brace my camera hand against something solid to hold the camera steady.

I'm not upset, I am calm, its all good. I just wanted to make clear that I am me,
and no one else. I do not have more than one LJ, see no need in it.

Thanks for the compliment, and I think its a really awesome painting you did. I know
you had no idea who I was. My interests are in photogaphy. You're more than welcome
to browse through my pictures and if there is anything there you like to duplicate
you're more than welcome to.

Speaking of using natural lighting, I do the same too when its possible, here is an example of where
I took sunlight and no flash. Some of these are recent.

I also dabble in art but I'm horrific. And my only catalist is the computer
and a mouse. I don't have brushes, pens, paper, canvas or anything of the
sort. All of my art work has been done on computer only. Anyhow feel free
to check out the things I've done, and continue to add often. here
