I used 50-year-old pastels on the Dark Wizard's hair and robes.
The innocent girl has a circle of Love Potion bottles spinning around her. The Evil Wizard has a circle of Poison bottles and flasks. The last the step of the finished piece would have been to smear the bottles so that they look to be spinning in two circles around the characters, creating something of a stylized heart shape.

Unfortunately, I was fumbling around when I sprained my back, and I slipped and fell against the drawing (it's taped to a large piece of foam core that was propped up on my desk). I managed to smear the wizard's lower face, the purple bottle and the girl's chin (as well as some of the other bottles). *sighs* I will probably never complete this drawing.
