[Who was your best friend?]
I would have to say Mike Jennings, although I had different groups of friends. Mike definitely was who I hung out with the most.
[What were your three favorite bands?]
I really can't even remember what I listened to back then. I used to listen to two kinds of music primarily: rock and classical. Yeah, I know. So I'd have to say Metallica, Dvorak, and Nirvana.
[What was your favorite outfit?]
I dressed like a loser in high school until about junior year. I was that guy in dweebish t-shirts and tigh jeans. I was nerd chic before it was nerd chic.
[What was up with your hair?]
I went through phases. My dad used to be a barber so he cut my hair for a while with a typical part to the left. I also went through the flat top phase and a middle-part phase. All in one year. Yeah, I told you I was cool.
[What did you do after school?]
I was at marching band or drama all the time. I definitely never touched homework. Any free time I had was spent with whatever friends were around.
[Where did you work?]
I didn't work freshman year. I was lazy.
[Did you take the bus?]
Considering I lived about 30 seconds from the school walking, no.
[Who did you have a crush on?]
Who didn't I have a crush on?
[Did you fight with your parents?]
Every single day. We're Sicilian...a very angry people.
[Who did you have a CELEBRITY crush on?]
Oh man, freshman year had to have been Jennifer Aniston. Damn, she was fine.
[Did you smoke cigarettes?]
Nope. I've smoked a couple over the years, but never freshman year. They suck.
[Did you lug all of your books around in your backpack all day because you were too nervous to find your locker?]
I did, but only because it was physically impossible to make it from one class to the locker and then to another class in four minutes. Was the administration high?
[Did you have a 'clique'?]
I would say for the most part, yes. But I had different groups of friends.
[Admit it, were you popular?]
Um, define popular. I got along with everyone, everyone knew me, but I wouldn't say people wanted to be me...haha.
[Who did you want to be just like?]
I really didn't think it was cool to be popular. They all seemed pretty fake. I loved being me. I had lost a ton of weight (yay MB camp!) and I was ok with me.
[What did you want to be when you grew up?]
Either a police officer or a chef.
[Where did you think you'd be at the age you are now?]
I couldn't even fathom being 23. I thought I'd be on top of the world, with money pouring out of my pockets. I'd be living my dreams and having a blast. Zero out of three ain't bad, right?
[What advice would you give your freshman self?]
Homework is easy and it'll help get you into a great school. Also, save your damn money, ya moron.
