Okay, let me just say, I'm getting more and more certain I picked the correct course.
However, this thing has an intensely high learning curve. I mean, Wednesday we had Oirentation, Thursday we learned how to use the Mac (for us non-Mac users) and dug into Maya in the afternoon. Our 'end of class' project thingy (not an actual assignment) was to build a table.
Today we inhaled about five TONS more information - and our end of class project? Creating a basic hand. Now, we didn't finish, and they're all gonna be pretty rough, since their basically just blocks at the moment, and it's more an excersice in learning to USE the assorted commands.... but still.
This will, I have no doubt, be one of my few, if not last, free weekends. If I want to learn anything, I have to put in the extra effort. *I* want this, *I* made this choice, it's up to me to succeed, ya? Well, so that means I take a heavy hit in the social life guts. Sorry folks, but you may not HEAR from me, let alone see me, much over the next while. I knew it was going to be intesive and eat up time - this is just now REALLY sinking in. ~_^
