Update
Been a while, I guess. THings have been busy as hell, in their own way.
No, I do not have a job yet.
Yes, I DID get into school.
Now we have the whole financing battle ahead. Oi. I'm telling you, if anything can go wrong, it will for me, trust me. Anyways, one day at a time, one step at a time type thingy.
Also, Mom and Ross are going to be moving back down east to New Brunswick, sometime in the next year to 2 years, give or take a bit. Personally, I'm just as happy for them. In fact, I've been encouraging them for a few months now to actually sit down and TALK about it. They kept sort of mentioning it, but never seriously talking about it. Poke poke, TALK. Anyways, I'm trying to get this whole school thing done before then, for obvious reasons.
As for the school, I finally figured out what I want to do, and I'm going to do my best to run right over anyone that gets in my damn way while I try to do it! It's hard work and all that, but I think it will be worth it.
Believe it or not, Mae has a social life. I was a shocked. Dinner with parents, dinner at my Cousins (Who, with my Uncle, by the by, offered me a place to stay if Mom and Ross leave early) a few times in fact, Saturday stuff, People coming to see me, Dinner at a Japanese restraunt (Where I actually had my first bites of Sushi - I kinda liked the fish roe - salty poprocks, right dragon_dancer30?:D). In fact, I was suprised and very pleased to get THAT invite. I always feel better when people think highly of me, or at least, highly enough to invite me out with them.
OH! Speaking of... masamanaris, ladyblaze69 - How does Thrusday sound for slurpee kidnappings? I think I can squeeze a kidnapping in that day. :D
I'm expecting my friend from Montreal on the 7th. Poor bastard is gonna get dragged to Saturday for boardgames (soon as I talk with everyone about it). T was thrilled at the idea of a 5 person Civ game. *rolls eyes* Men. Anyways, Mr Montreal has decieded we're going to the only Karokee (sp?) Box in Edmonton. I'm taking my mother. She LIKES to sing in front of people. Me, not so much. I'll go anyways. I suppose if other people want to come along, I can broach the subject. I know T has been invited already (even though his opinion of doing Karokee is the same as mine).
