o.o I haven't, yet, reached the level where my books require a whole apartment to themselves. Although packing was amusing: my mother was assisting and we cleaned out my bookcase (double layered with books), then as we went through kept coming across more of them - by the end, she was ready to strangle me. :D 'ANOTHER damn book? Geezus girl!'

I haven't read that book yet. Sounds interesting. Most of the time I end up avoiding non-fiction since I have difficulty locating things that appeal to me. That, and most books stores just label things 'non-fiction' with no sub-division by 'social commentary' ectera, wich would make things MUCH easier for me. While I have no objections to spending hours in a book store, the thought of wading through acres of true crime books makes me shudder. >_<

-I had a somewhat odd upbringing. My father was rather old fashioned, but my mother was somewhat less so - more of a 60's child in some ways. :) I tend to think personality plays a huge role. My sister was insanely uninhibited, and my brother not far behind her. I, however, tended to wear jeans and long sleeved shirts even on the hottest days. Of course, I had, and still have, a bad body image. North American culture can be just as tough on people - it's okay to wander around practically naked if you look one way, but not okay to show any skin if you look another. I find it all rather sad.

Me? In MOntreal? :O Probably not. Although it'd be cool, since I've only every been through it, but never visited. Sadly, travel plans are not currently on my list. :|

Fair enough. let me know if this changes ? I can point you aat a lot of cool things. Some of them are even neither places to eat nor bookshops.
