Update?
Well, let'see, oh, first, finally got everything I own at the apartment. Yaaa!! Of course, now comes the getting it organized... more difficult then one might think. I just realized that I need a book shelf way more then I thought I did. Loads and loads of books.. and no place to put them. I /could/ leave them in the large bins.. but then I'd have no place to put clothes, since I don't have, nor is there room for, a dresser.. while there /is/ room for a skinny, tall bookshelf. Bleh. And don't /even/ suggest giving them up. No way. I adore my books. Almost as much as I adore my movies! Which is the other problem that'll probably start growing, where to put movies. Le sigh. Right now I must call the gas company since the pilot light has gone out on my stove, which means there is a very tiny gas leak going on. Not always a comforting thought.
On the bright side, I got to hold my Niece (And it /is/ spelled Brandy, is in the liquor). She was so /tiny/. I didn't get to see KC that small... I forgot how little babies could be!! I also tend to think she looks a bit like her father... which is fine, at least she doesn't have the family nose, which does, fortunately, tend to stay on the male side, with a few notable exceptions, like my Aunt.
I've also managed, in amongst everything else, to Reapp my favorite (And as yet pretty much unplayed) Mage concept. Wheee!! Seem to have bad luck with this character.. either the MU* shuts down, or the concept for the game, though cool, is not to my tastes. Ah well. Here's hoping.. I do think I'll be approved since I revamped her BG so that she comes ongrid Awakened.. in the process adding at least two more pages (In MSWord) onto the already rather lengthy (If I say so) BG. I even managed, I hope, to finally get a bit of a clue about Paradigm. So this is good.
On another bright note, I get the 26th off from work!! Ya! Of course, it's a bit sad when your happy to get /one/ extra day off from work... but ya's takes whats ya's can gets. So I'll go see Dad and the Smom for that weekend, it being my Bday and all (Which is how I got it off), which might just give me the stamina to bear work until my first week of holidays, which become available after my first year anniversary. And I couldn't fucking believe it, but I've been at this place for /9 damn months/. I'm shocked, if no one else is, and it all begs the question, where the /hell/ did the time go? And what have I accomplished? We'll just leave that thought for later..
