I have goop on my face. I want it off. Need food first.
Anyway, so the weekend went well. Halifax was good, despite the fact that our site got cancelled and there was minimal people there. Still, it was good. My brain is just so broken right now, that and it's terribly hard to stay in charcater sitting in one of T's chairs and trying not to giggle at B's eyeballs-floating-in-goo-ball. Don't ask.
Saturday was fun. Played some Call of Cthulu. I forgot how bizzarre that game is. Bizzare to the point of us going 'What else is there for us to do? We can't FIND anything!' and having T go 'Well, no, that's pretty much where it ends. Good work.' ..... 'Uhm, kay.' And I'm the sane one in the group, despite my love of guns. :P Hey, they ASKED me to stop the guy chanting the ritual immediately! Is it MY fault the best way to do that was to shoot him in the head? Made sense to ME! And to T as well, apparently (My character is pretty much a spoiled brat who tends to be rather calculating.. as spoiled brats are won't to be. I like her. She's rather different from most characters I've played.)
Anyway, so ended up going for food afterwards. Chinese buffett. Not bad. I've had muchmuchmuch worse buffetts, the food was actually edible, and some of it was good (like the chicken balls, wich had chicken that you could FIND in them, instead of just batter!). Also, B paid when I was distracted and not paying attention, and then 'Ha!'d at me. Men are so weird. Well, the reason I went out to eat with them was because my sister is .. slow. Or confused... no wait.. she's a mother. Yuh. Anyway, so then T and I picked up KC and he dropped us at my place cuz he's a sweetie, and my nephew helped me build my first villian for CoV.. she has green hair and skin and a violently orange outfit. Apparently these are my nephew's fav colors atm. She looks kinda cool, actually. :D
So, sunday, my nephew played with robots (I have these roboty things Mike left behind.. whatever they are called again) and I flucked around on CoV. Well, once my internet was working. We watched a couple movies too.. sorta. As in my nephew had the usual attention span of a hyperactive child (aka NONE), and sorta yo-yo'd between movie and toys. Same when I played CoV. He liked watching me beat up the bad guys and babbling at me so I was distracted all the time. THEN, later, the gang got together and did a task force (a bloody 5 HOUR task force!), and, since I had actually planned this, thats when everyone decieded to visit me. :D My sister brought my mother and ross and brandy along to get KC, and Chris and Chris stopped by to see the shinyness that is CoH and drop off my partylight stuff and oh and ah over it.. all while I'm trying to do a task force. O_O I have the worst luck, I swear.
So, needless, eventually everyone cleared out and I was able to finish the task force, aquire food and watch two episodes of a new anime B loaned me before passing out. Then my alarm started going off at 5:30 this morning so I could get my costume ready. You will find a pic behind a cut to follow. Costume turned out okay, but the face stuff? Yuh, stinky to apply, doesn't photo well with the digital camera (cuz it's not shiney and bronzey looking!), attaching the cobwebs to my clothes was easy, and, of course, the blinky eyes of Fred the Spider is a good way to distract people. Lots of people where dressed up at the office today.. one of the better outfits was a pirate! AVAST! Hehe. And the cereal killer.. and the pink catgirl (I shudder!). Also, someone was whatshername from Nightmare Before Christmas, and that was cool. My sup dressed up like a hippy, and THAT was funny. And the month is over, and I have survived with my job, if not my sanity, in tact, and it is halloween and I got to dress up. And that is it.
Now, I am going to eat, watch some anime, drown myself and clean the gunk off my face, the gel/powder outta my hair and go the hell to bed at a decent hour.
This is the only pic I got of my costume cuz no one at work could work a camera phone
And some older stuff...
An actual good pic of JeJe, fairly recent
And for my mother.. her boyfriend with my hair poofies on his head. Hehe. I love those hair poofies. I will have to wear them at work again soon.
