all talk no action
1. so mike, me, mike's little brother dann, and his friend nick were sitting on the curb along bush's route....we waited a good half hour...then a helicopter goes overhead...then a few squad cars...some CIA-looking type guys in regular cars...some rent-a-cop vans, some more squad cars...then we see a few Bush/Cheney busses coming arund the corner....and we're squinting into each vehicle because we dont know which one GW is going to be in....
so i'd been waving to cops on and off while we were waiting, and theres some dude on one of the bush/cheney busses standing next to the bus driver waving to everyone who's watching....and so i wave back...
then i realize it was bush.
GAHHHHH!
i didnt want to wave at him...we had tons of ideas to play out in front of him, especially ones involving the definition of marriage, to drive home the Senate ruling today....but none that we could carry out quickly enough because we didnt know exactly when he was going to drive by. i also had no time to print out a hunky picture of john edwards. ahhh well....excuses excuses. that, and none of us were ballsy (sp?) enough to try something and get hauled off.
it was the novelty of...how often will the PResident drive by my house? probably never again. so i saw it. whoop! for me.
2. on an entirely more exciting note mike and i are making tacos tonight. mmm mmm!
