It goes on. ~ Robert Frost
I was clearing out old school memorabilia today, and found all these awesome notes I took in classes back in high school full of plot notes and character sketches. Ah, nostalgia. Also included was this one page, double-sided note of memorable quotes I must have taken down at some point. There's no date, but it looks like it came from the latter years of high school judging by my handwriting and they're great.
On a somewhat related note, watching Jeeves and Wooster made me really want that old typewriter I used to fiddle with in New York, and I asked my parents where it was today. Apparently they threw all of them (them! plural!) out DD: But the good news is that we have another, newer one here in the garage and I'm going to nag my dad to find it for me so I can clean it and love it *g* And he also promised to keep an eye out for old antique ones for me at garage sales from now on. :D Once I get one working, I think I'll buy some nice thick paper and type out all these quotes to frame. :)
There are lots of other things I could report like the wicked lightning show I was lucky enough to be inside to catch yesterday (even though dad wanted to go fishing >__>), but I have a small glass of brandy with some ice and I'm feeling lethargic enough to forgo all that. XD So I'll just end with another quote:
Make your life a mission-- not an intermission. ~Arnold Glasgow
