NEWSFLASH:
Why Neil Gaiman is bad for my wallet in more ways than one. He pimped it on his blog a few days and akjsdlfj;asd f THE CUTE. GAH. WANT. Seriously, check it out; those poppets are so darn adorable and the Neil Rat? Socute. (And well, I did apply for a credit card yesterday... alsjdlfsd the temptatiooooon.)
Apart from my materialistic consumer needs, however, this morning I was pleasantly reminded of why I keep a journal and pen within reach of my bed. I had the first really good sleep I've had in a while and another one of those scarily vivid dreams. Complete with narration and a coherent storyline. It was awesome, and I got one nice line down and soft, pretty pictures in my head. Which puts me a) in a good mood, and b) in the mood for fic. Today's off to a pretty good start~
That reminds me that the night before, I pretty much proved to myself how much of a geek I was IN MY SLEEP. I- I dreamt about Logic and my dream had political jokes in it. It was sad (but funny!). From what I remember, I was in some new class and the TA (who just happened to be UNSOC's President) was having a sort of intro quiz and whoever got the answer would get a bottle of water or juice (yeah, I don't know either my mind works in weird ways). And I was basically getting all of the answers and I'd collected about 7-8 bottles when he announced the last question... which was a question involving the use of necessary and sufficient conditions in logic. Hahaha. XD;; Something like, if such and such sentence was true, does it make this conclusion true and there was a "maybe" and a "yes" and I remember the answer being "yes" because the condition attached was sufficient and yadda yadda yadda. (l-lol, you guys still love me right~ ^^;)
So I get the answer right, along with ONE other person and the TA goes, "... Do I even need to mention Jasmine? Or should I just say that she's got a unification going on for the bottles." (History of IR, learning about Bismarck's unification of Germany. Haha, I retain lectures at least?)
