(no subject)
The last two weeks here have been the most hellish I've experienced in a long time. I just got my first break since being back. What with all of the work that my professors were assigning and the study abroad essays taking up every spare minute of my time, I have not really had a moment to veg. I've been perpetually preoccupied. Turned in my last application Monday morning. I have not been able to bring myself to look at my essays though. Reading my final drafts would be just awful. I'm pretty sure that they are just terrible and I don't want to know that by re-reading them.
Getting my app in didn't mean a break though, because I had to write a speech for my Public Speaking class. Turns out that I really like making speeches because I thoroughly enjoyed writing that one. It may have been because it was talking about my copy of Cien Anos de Soledad and how it relates to my personality so that was fun.
Anyway, I've been having a lot of fun, aside from the work. I've kept super busy but it's been rather enjoyable. Apparently I'm kind of a beast when it comes to work ethic now. Where was this during high school when it could have come in handy?
In other news, I really want this album but I have absolutely no disposable income. And I really want to move off campus if only to have my own kitchen.
