time flies when you're playing music
I picked up my guitar today for the first time in a long time. Wow. I forgot how much music stuff really means to me. Seriously, as most of you know, I had like SUPERSHITTY day. So now I have my guitar, my pretty cool new song, and a bunch of hurting fingers on my left hand. Oh well. I need to build up calluses or something and practice enough so that they STAY there. I feel really really creative today. We're doing a creative writing assignment in English, and mine is kind of cool. Jocelyn really liked it. It might be the first piece of writing I'm actually proud of this quarter. And then now, I've just written this song, with some really cool chord changes that I plucked out completely by ear. That's the best way, cause they're really unique and they kind of speak to who you are. Maybe I'll post either my song, or my essay on here sometime soon.
48 for 88 this weekend! I'm excited, though I don't exactly know why, I really dont have any reason to be super excited. Excitement is better than being depressed though, like I was all day.
