I feel vaguely proud of myself. The neverending project of cleaning and organizing is one that really agonizes me. Somewhere along the line I really changed as a person. Wow--it sounds like you and I are on nearly the exact same page when it comes to this. I've been spending the past three months doing exactly this, partially because I do not want my next move to again consist of dozens of unidentifiable black trash bags and boxes marked "Random," and partially because I'm sick of looking at disorganized piles, mostly containing things I know I don't need or want.

Makes me happy to know that you too are a recovering pack rat!
