Orange Bowl was last night. USC beat OU by a lot like 25 points or something to that extent.
I've gotta give Jojo props for her performance of The National Anthem. She sounded great. Yeah, I hate to admit it.
So first half ends and the drama begins. Kelly is introduced as a "multi platinum recording artist". Gotta love no American Idol references and the music to SUBG begins. All of a sudden, You see her singing, but you can't hear her singing. The mic wasn't working so it's switched, but she's still low. She's shaken up a little bit as she was shaking while fixed her ear piece. Hell I would have been too doing a huge live performance and something goes wrong. The problems with the mic continue, but it's better than it was. Near the end of the second chorus/bridge everything starts to sound fine. All of a sudden you hear this random guy singing along. We think it might be Al but we're not really sure.
She looks so pretty.
Jebbie let us know that Kelly just ended up laughing about it because everything that could have gone wrong did. She also couldn't hear herself at all, so that's why she was holding her ear with her finger. She didn't know whether or not she was on pitch. She was trying to think about it in her head. Geez, She sounded perfectly fine to me. True pro right there. Heck, She didn't get any buzz like Ashlee, but I'd rather no buzz than negative buzz. Seems that this performance actually got people to give her props for staying calm and handling it.
Ashlee also had problems, but I think that her mic was working better now. She just couldn't hear the feedback, which is a bad combination also. Unfortunately, she got extremely loud boos after. Oh well, I still love her. I hope The Ashlee Simpson Show was there and got some of the aftermath from hers and Kelly's peformances.
Working tonight from 5-9:30. Also, I think that I'm going to the Ashlee Simpson concert with Carolyn and Kim. :)
