Graduation is over, College here I come!!!
I am officially done with high school!! And I couldn't be more excited! It's definitely bittersweet, there are a lot of things that I am going to miss, some of my friends, some of the teachers, the security, the comfort. It's sad to think that 4 years of my life was over in an hour long ceremony. I had so many great times in high school and I got to experience a lot of really cool stuff!!
When I was in high school though, I was always a good kid, I never did anything wrong, very rarely did I ever get into trouble. So when I was talking to one of the guys at work, he was like, that's because you never took any risks, you always played it safe. And you know what- he was compeltely right. Part of me really likes being the good kid, but another part of me wants to be crazy and go out and stay out all night and get into trouble - well not too much trouble anyway.
College is right around the corner. I have my orientation next week when I schedule my classes, and then I can find a new job and figure out when I can work out and do all kinds of things. I'm really excited to meet new people and take some new classes. The only thing is that when I first meet new people I am so so so shy and not my usual outgoing self. But I hope that once I start at Oakland, I will find a lot of new friends, I'm even thinking of joining a sorority - but I'm not sure yet - anyone have any ideas? and of course I'm hoping to find a boyfriend!
My summer is going to go by soooooooo fast!!! I'll still be working at Times Square Deli, which I love, and I want to work out as much as I can, I have to go to Florida for my uncle's wedding unfortunately - long story there. Also, my bestest friend Lindsay and I are going to go to Mackinac Island from July 15-July 18!!! I am so excited to get away for a couple of days just the two of us and drive away from everything down here! We'll be staying on the island and doing lots of stuff - I can't wait! Plus this summer, I'll be getting everything ready for college, and definitely buying a new wardrobe with some of the money from my graduation. BTW - my graduation party is at my house on Friday, July 8th! It starts at 5:30 and goes until whenever - the pool will be open and we'll have a kareoke machine. It's going to be a lot of fun, and you're all invited so come and bring friends if you want to!
