Charity Ball
So, last night was the Charity Ball, an event held by the University for Homecoming. We got all dressed up in homecoming dresses (next time I think I'll wear a shorter dress, that seemed to be what most people were wearing) Anyway, we went out to dinner at Uno's -where I had gone that day already with my mom!- and as we were walking down State Street one of the girls I went with, Gretchen. pushed another girl, T, into these guys. She didn't actually bump into them but it was close. People visiting State Street tend to take pictures of State Street. Well those boys that almost got T pushed into were with their dad. He turned around while they were walking and took a pic of one of his sons. Then he said, you should have gotten closer! lol, a couple minutes later he turned around and asked if we could take a pic with his boys. One of them said(already walked ahead, poor thing was embarrassed) "I can't believe you are doing this!" So we all took pics with these two guys and had their dad use our cameras too! It was sooooooo funny. After we ate, we headed over to the dance. It was a lot of fun. lol, some info! I'm in the "Virgin Vault" dorm-Liz waters. Well I was dancing with my fellow Liz girls and there happened to be another group of liz girls next to us. There was this guy dancing with one of them- dougie houser look a like- and there were two guys kinda just standing there, sorta dancing. I could see one of them looking at me out of the corner of my eye. Then I felt a tap on my shoulder and he was standing behind me. I thought he wanted to dance, instead he asked me where I was living. Um? Liz waters baby! lol I just told him. I asked him the same question, cause what else was I supposed to do???? He said some street name. So I just went back to dancing and I hear him say to other nondance guy "let's go" or something like that. Then they moved to a different part of the dance! Um, what was with that? I have two theories- he wanted to dance, but was too shy to ask me and when I turned back around- I was always facing away from him, so just turned my head back around- he chickened out. My real theory is that he wanted to get into my pants, well dress. Why ask where I was living?? not my name? When people know you live in Liz Waters, they think Virgin and/or Lesbian. Which is silly since most girls don't want to be here so the rep is off base! Lol, so that was interesting. Some of the girls I came with decided to dance somewhere else since it was hot, but Karissa, Annie, and I stayed and then the other Liz girls moved too except the girl who was dancing with dougie houser man (don't know how to spell his name). So, that guy inches his way over so he is dancing with both of us!!!! I've only really danced fast dances with Joe. So, doing that with two girls and one guy was odd. I mean, his knee was like up my butt, and I was like "ewwww" and he kept touching my waist and hip. So, Karissa's feet were killing her, so she went and sat down in this hallway and Annie want to make sure she was okay so I bolted to go check on her, without saying anything to the guy. So he was left to dance with the one girl. So we walked over to Karissa and then a couple of seconds later see creepy guy walking, looking around. Like he was bored with just dancing around one girl so he went somewhere where there was more. So yeah, it was flattering, really but strange! Then we danced some more, I requested "Save a horse, Ride a Cowboy" cause I love that song and it's fun to dance too. Shortly after we played it, poor Gretchen's dress started falling a part so we decided it was time to go. So that was my night. Today, I have work and study and Joe is coming up around 7:30 :)
