the one where she learned iView…
Got back from the four hour (mandatory) class on iView1. It was alright, and wasn’t as complicated as I assumed it was going to be. Like any other computer based patient charting, I’ll probably just need some time to get used to when I’m working that shift. Anyways, there was this cute moment while we were in class… my sister and I attend together, and the CIS2 Instructor, Emillie was an old acquiantance of my sister. She told me that while this class was the first time we’ve met, apparently she sort of knows me from on of my charge nurses - Chompu.
“Oh, Chompu just thinks the world of you! She tells us about you all the time. And of course, by association I figured you were the kid sister that Fides was sending through nursing school.”
That just amused me because thats exactly what Mommy Chompu3 would do. And Emillie, I was super glad she was the one teaching because the other lady who usually does the classes is a little bit too anal retentive that it annoys me a bit.

Did I ever blog about the new fragrance that I discover while waiting for Reya last week. Well its the Gucci Envy Me, which I am loving right now. Its sweet and a little fierce scent is becoming a mainstay in my collection!
And I think I might drop by the freestanding MAC Store at the Galleria this afternoon… my obsession is going full steam and I really want a whole bunch of other eyeshadows from there. And I might also finally give in and buy their Studio Sculpt Concealer which I’ve read rave reviews about.
Someone, stop me!
Oh, and something else that I have been obsessing about lately, this.
1 - a version of charting on patients that looks alot like Excel.
2 - Clinical Information Systems, aka the techy people behind computer charting at the hospital.
3 - Our nicknames at work… I call her “Mommy” because she always affectionately calls me “Baby Viel” at work.
