Outside the Bar, in the mountains, there is a cave with a Δ by the side of it.  Other than that, it is non-descript.

Bonzo passes this entrance while poking around outside without much thought.  He's been out here many times before; what is he going to run into right now?  He's wearing sweats; the sweatshirt has on its back a rather familiar-looking

Petra isn't near the boy. There is a tree between them.

[mandercommander]

Bonzo stops in the entrance of the cave. "Petra? That you?"

[petraarkanian]

Petra groans inwardly. No, she does /not/ want to deal with the boy today. She keeps quiet. Maybe he'll think he misheard?

[mandercommander]

No, he thinks he saw her, so he goes jogging in her general direction. And yes, he sees her. "Hey."

[petraarkanian]

Petra wonders why fate hates her.

"Can I help you?"

[mandercommander]

"Just wondering how you're doing."

[petraarkanian]

"Fine."

Her eyes zero in on his bandage.

"You've been getting shot at again."

[mandercommander]

"Trigger-happy soldier stumbled into the Bar and drew on me, without me provoking them." Pause. "It happens."

[petraarkanian]

I doubt that. But Petra doesn't say the thought that crosses her mind.

She doesn't have a polite way to end the conversation, but, look@ A Cave! She walks into it.

[mandercommander]

And Bonzo sighs, following after Petra. As usual.

[petraarkanian]

Petra walks for a while into the cave, her eyes adjusting slowly. It is good it is dim, Petra does not deal with pitch black very well not after...

She tears her thoughts forcefully away. Behind her she can hear Bonzo's soft foot falls. She turns, opens her mouth to shoo him away... and stops, closing her mouth and glaring over the boy's shoulder.

[mandercommander]

Bonzo notices Petra stop and turn. It's dim, but Petra is the largest moving object around, not to mention being the person he was following on the way in, so it's not hard to notice.

When she starts to speak and then stops, he looks slightly confused. "What's up, Petra?"

[petraarkanian]

"Why is the cave opening gone."

It is less a question, more a statement.

[mandercommander]

Turn and look.

"Uh..." Pause. "That's a good question."

And I didn't do it.

[petraarkanian]

I would get stuck in a dark cave with him.

Petra cannot help but think that bad things are going to happen. They always seem to when she and Bonzo are alone.

[mandercommander]

Bonzo is of a similar persuasion.

"Well..." Pause. "I'm guessing we need to search for another entrance." Again, more a statement than a question.
