During a period of 24 hours I was drunk on TWO seperate occasions. Hrm. Not sure how healthy that is, but damn I've been having a good time. The Sakura (cherry blossoms) are blooming, the weather is warmer, school has started up and there have been parties galore. This Friday was the welcome enkai for the new teachers (more shenanigans a la previous post) and then several JETs got together for "Hanami" on Saturday. Hana = flowers, Mi = to look. Basically, it is a flower viewing party. People sit out under the blossoms and have a picnic with friends and enjoy the sights. A good time was had by all :) Here are some pictures!
Sakura around my village
My school surrounded by Sakura and nestled in the mountains. It is so beautiful here sometimes I have to stop and take a look around and pinch myself.

A bit inebriated at this point...
