Celebrating Sid
Bear with me because this is not about the Aubreyad itself; but it is about Sid/Sidlj who passed away several weeks ago. She was loved not only within AoS but in other fandoms too.

I would love to host a memorial thon in her honour. And by memorial I don't mean stuffy or morbid or unremittingly sad. I mean something that is gloriously Sid. So, we celebrate her fannish life by celebrating all those things about Jack/Daniel that she loved best - the humour, the hotness, the angst, the passion, the LOVE. Sid was love. And we could be prompted by the things in life that Sid adored ... the Indy 500, history, vintage art, baseball, tennis, food, cocktails, and so much more. That's just some ideas, by the way, not a requirement. We all knew her in different ways and that is something that should be celebrated. Artwork, fics, links to and excerpts from favourite Sid‘s works, all the usual Thon stuff. Yes, it will undoubtedly be tinged with sadness, how could it not? But It will also be a chance to come together to mourn our loss, to celebrate her and also to celebrate our future in fandom. Because she will always be a part of us.

How about taking part because sharing memories is always a wonderful way of keeping friends alive.
