As Sharpie has said, the boarding of Acheron comes to mind: the pointing of the guns, the closeness of the ships, the melee of bodies and the ferocity of the action. But I also think of Jack and his rousing speech to his men from this description 'All hands aft,' he said, and as they waited for the crew to assemble Stephen could see that a smile kept spreading on his face - that he had to make a conscious effort to repress it and look grave.
'Men,' he said, looking over them with pleasure.
