Okay, if that's 'no hand' for drawing, then you're a lot better than some people who are convinced that they do have a hand. I for one wish that I had been that good when I was starting out.
Also, blushing!Stephen. (I am presuming that Stephen is in the Surgeon's quarters and James is the one leaving, when I say all of the following.) One suggestion would be to not shade the lenses of his glasses. It makes him look like his eyes are open in this huge, discomfiting stare. ^^; Also, poor James needs some arms. Otherwise, how can he molest Stephen efficiently? ^.~
Still on the note of James, ruffled hair. OMG. I cannot draw short hair to save my life, so even if you think you're not good at drawing, you certainly are several good strides ahead of me in the short, tousled hair arena. There's a reason I only draw short hair when it's arranged into a style, not all fluttering about of its own volition. I'd sooner draw long hair in all of its evilness.
YAY! Four squees! Ha, it's become a sort of rating system now. xD
Thanks for all your great tips! I don't usually scan my drawings (when I actually draw); I do much better line art and things on Adobe Illustrator so if I could just find my disk, I'd be posting a lot more of those.
