Xmas was cool. I got presents, ate food, drank alcohol, and went for a dip in the pool.
Tomorrow is Boxing Day a.k.a the day that I drink some of the Jim Beam small batch that Cliff gave me. Yum.
I made a lot of money last week at work, but I worked so many hours that I'm trying to decide whether my tiredness was really worth it. Some things you just can't put money value on.
My grandparents gave me a 20 pound note for Xmas, which cost them $57 AU including the exchange fee. Crikey.
Everyone liked the presents I gave them, or at least pretended to like them.
I spoke to my auntie in Sydney and she told me to tell my mother to "get lost" if she mentions marriage to me ever again. Despite the fact that I have been doing that I think my aunt's reinforcement of that has made me feel a lot better. Haha.
I've been shopping on itunes and spent $80/100. I got some good songs that I like that many people will definitely not like. But it's my ipod and it's named after my cat so who cares. =)
Today was a great day. Kind of bland and neutral but overall good. My family is so peaceful and together in comparison to some other families from what I have heard and read on lj, and for that I am glad. I do empathise with others who have bad experiences on Xmas day, but I doubt that empathy is welcomed.
