goodbye sweet freedom...

well, i'm going to sit here and enjoy my last 26 minutes of freedom and then i guess i'll go get my stuff together and go to bed so i can get up in the morning and go to school. today was absofuckinglutely insane but it's mostly over now so i'm pleased. i woke up early so i could go warm up and make a copy of my audition piece in the library (b/c for some reason my copy has disappeared of the face of the planet) but when i got there a) the building didn't open until 12 and b) the library didn't open at all, fall hours start tomorrow. so i was essentially fucked as far as my audition piece and had to pick a different one. i picked another piece and it was an absolute fucking disaster but i got through it and didn't cry, i didn't have to sight read which was awesome, i have the callback music and i'm pretty good on most of it and i've got time tomorrow morning to work some more so i shall redeem myself! i worked from 12-6 (with a large break from 1:30 to 3:30 to drive down to u of l, audition and then hop the bus back to work which was nuts) and then came back and saw some people after work in the organ room working callback music (i missed the working but made it for the chatting) then went with jay for some dinner and back to their apartment to run through music and now i'm watchin the news and i really need to go clean my room or something but i'm lazy and i don't want to.
in other news - i feel old. really really old. my little sister is officially at college, dad drove her to campbellsville today and she got moved into her dorm and they start classes wednesday. i can't believe that my baby sister is away at college. holy shit. i survived. she's an adult. the universe does love me after all :-)
