things are changin...
but i'm happy about it so i guess it's good. yesterday was fun, 6/6/06 was a pretty redletter day for quite a few people i'll bet. sarah patrick got married which was pretty fun, the ceremony was just for kicks as they were married in front of a judge earlier that day but it was fun as hell, lots of red and black streamers, metal music and daisy presiding over the newlyweds. i don't really hang out with that group of people but i knew quite a few more people than i normally do and those that i didn't know seemed like pretty cool people, all really nice and not at all standoffish. so congrats to sarah and george even though it won't be the same here without her. it seems like all the cool people are leaving the music school and it's gonna be way lame come fall. guess we'll see. in more personal news 6/6/06 will be the ridiculously easy to remember day that I finally decided to throw myself headfirst into the deep end of the pool and switch to performance. crazy, i know but i just feel like if i don't do it now i never will. so according to the voice faculty at u of l i am now (get ready to make fun) a *sophomore* again... oh well, sophomore comps were pretty cool, now i just get to take them again. i'm still excited about it, nervous but excited. now if i could just get my voice to come back from whatever little vacation it's decided to take and stop being all evil and swollen and i regain the ability to sleep more than two hours at a time i'll be even more excited. well, i've gotta run and get ready to go to my first night of work at my new job :-) here's hoping that hallmark is a fun job. more later.
